One elevator was out of order. Never fixed during our stay. The ice machine on our floor was not working. Reported it to the staff and it was never fixed.
The only thing is when you walk into the hotel it smells like gas mail or something it's a funny odor
If I could choose my last resting place, it would be the king size bed at this holiday inn. It was heaven on earth. It was like being born again when you wake up. It was a battle getting out of bed in the morning it was SO good.
I didn't like that I was only there 1 day. I wish I could've stayed longer.
Perfect location right on the beach. Beds were comfortable as compared to other hotels.
Carpet in the rooms of a beach motel is not a good choice but I think they are renovating and floors will be a hard surface.
Evan Chase, Mgr checked us in and started our vacation in a really great way. He made a special effort to get us connecting rooms. Location is the best selling point of this hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and went the extra mile. The room attendant was energetic and friendly. When my daughter got sick she worked around her schedule to clean the room. The band was awesome. I also thought the beds were really comfortable and the linens very clean. Towels were excellent. At the restaurant, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our budget was stressed so we appreciated the free breakfast.
The pool is too small. The bathrooms need to be upgraded to showers I thought and cleaned a little better to rid of the mold. The elevators need a little work and the restaurant is not always open. I think a place to get a burger and hotdog near the beach would be great. Chair Rentals were very old but the gentlemen were very friendly and let us have two chairs instead for half price. My daughter and I sit better in chairs. We would have liked a balcony.
Room 230 was right next to the service elevator and you could hear the traffic on and off all night. There was no room service menu, the front desk said they would bring one up. Three days later still no room service menu. The blackout drapes were removed so the parking lot light was shining in the room all night. We made one from the comforter McGyver style and it was better than nothing. The restaurant staff was rude to the wife and kid when I was not present. It was all yes sir and no sir when I was present....
Friendly efficient and accommodated our second room since Booked.net failed to reserve the second room
A complimentary breakfast would have been nice.
When checking in one elevator worked for the entire hote worked. Our room had chunks of food dried in the floor. No towels and a shower that did not drain. When asked to clean it three different shifts. No one did, they moved us to a different room where the bathroom light didn't work. See picture light switch up no light. In the middle of the night they gave our room to someone and they tried entering at 2:00 am. I then called down stairs they were rude. The next morning we got up and found our vehicles broken in to and everything stolen. This happened bc we were asked to park across the street. They ran out of parking which we had to pay for separate at the hotel. They told us they would have security watching. They didn't and we had to file a police report. They didn't not care that any of this happened. We left and lost all the money to stay.also pool is unsafe
Proximity to beach
Somewhat over priced
The location was excellent and the fact that there was a bar and rentals right outside was excellent.
It was a little annoying that there were only two elevators to go up to room. At times you had to wait because they were pretty small. The bed sheets were stained.
The pictures of the room showed a balcony and ther wasn't one. The description should also say ittle to no sea or beach view.
Bed was extremely comfortable. I loved the lights above the bed also, made it feel very high class. The location was perfect and very family friendly. Everything you needed right there within a mile or two.
Small bathrooms. Remote was out of batteries.
Beds were comfy , swimming pool and location were awesome.
One of the receptionist didn't know her own company's policy regarding Best Price Guarantee.
I did like the towels, it seems unlike other hotels, they either used fabric softener or they were all new towels. Either way, they felt great drying off with after a long day in the sun.
At check in I was given a room w/ 2 queen beds but it wasn't ready. So I went to eat, to come back to find out that they switched my room and now I have a king w/pull out sofa bed. My 22 yr old son didn't like that. As well as finding out that the free continental breakfast was not free. $25.30 for 2 people, and not to find out that it costs till we already sat down to eat. I was also surprised with the mold along the bath tub sealant. And finally don't try to take a cooler into the pool area, as they are not allowed.
